Baxcova is the artist name of Patasha ‘Alek’ Geerings and was born in Clarendon, Jamaica. She was drawn to The Visual Arts at a very young age and finally graduated with Honors in the field of Fine Arts and Visual Communication. After completing her degrees, Patasha delved even more into her practice, using it as a means to change communities and revamp organizations and developments by using Art not only as a means of Communication but Therapy. She has worked on artistic projects around the world and is also involved in Art Direction for recognized festivals, brands and collections. She currently lives in Eindhoven, with her husband and two year old son.
