As you might know the theme of this edition of Windows to the World is ‘Playing Outside’. All artists worked within this theme.
Now we wanted to organize an auction around our theme Playing Outside and support a local playground Sint Joseph Speeltuin runned by volunteers since 1945! We asked artists to make a drawing with the words Windows to the World and donate this drawing for the action.
And we received more than 20 pieces!!
So have a look and help the playground by making a nice bid (or two) for one of the great pieces we received.
Big thanks to all the artists and people helping out! And thanks to you for bidding!
Some more info:
The neighbourhood kids call it ‘Opa Speeltuin’ meaning Grandpa Playground because of Opa Kees, one of the managers of the playground. 100% of the money will go to Opa Speeltuin! (minus postage and print costs. And we will make some sign painting works for their location!
Only the package and postage costs are paid by the buyer. It's included in your bid, thats why there is a €15 minimum price. The rest, will go towards the Sint Joseph Playground. After the auction we will let everyone know when we hand over the money to the playground with a giant check.
